The former running back and present-day TV analyst LeSean McCoy has once again lashed out at the Indianapolis Colts. The former athlete said that the Colts had insulted their star running back by not offering him a new contract with a high amount of money.

The relationship between Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts is on the verge of decline and McCoy warned the management before. In one of his earlier shows, the former athlete suggested the Colts owner Jim Irsay ‘payout,’ Taylor. He even said that the Colts have only one way to Keep the player in the squad and that is by offering a lucrative offer to the player since he is the best option the Colts are presently having.

This time, he went more brutal in terms of defining the clash between the Colts and Jonathan Taylor. From the sets of the famous NFL-driven TV Talk show, he said that Taylor earned the money as a rookie who won the pro balls and others. Hence there is no logic in not paying him.

Look at the team. Why wouldn’t you pay him? He is the best player. Every colt knows it. Every player knows it. They pay different offers. They can pay money. They can’t value him $60 million in a year. You need to pay him something rather than paying nothing,” he added.  The analyst kept on elaborating on the tussle between the owner and the player. He said the owner does not want to increase as the team had a horrible season last year. However, Taylor said that the increment would help the team in building.

The relationship between Jonathan Taylor and the Colts has gotten worse. The star running-back went to rehab from the team’s practice and did not even come back. He even asked the GM to trade him so that he could receive a good contract ahead of the upcoming NFL season.

The team told him that the trade was not possible. However, it has come to light that the team provided a green signal in trading their star running back.

Jim Irsay once said that the relationship between the player and his team has gone bad. He said that the situation sucks but he believes that it can be repaired. Considering the present situation it no longer looks to be back on track. The Indianapolis Colts will begin their NFL season on 9 September.
