The Chicago Bears have had a difficult season. They started the year losing five of their first six games and were under tremendous pressure. Their QB Justin Fields‘ struggles coincided with the team’s poor start and calls were made to bench the former first-round pick. However, since then, Fields has improved his game and has been great in recent weeks.
The Bears have won four of their last five games and have improved to 7-9. Fields had improved performances in those games. Even after some good outings recently, Fields still has his doubters.
Some pundits believe that the third-year QB is not a long-term solution for the Bears and the franchise should move on from him after the season. One such doubter is Fox Sports analyst and former NFL player, LeSean McCoy.
McCoy said on the Fox Sports show, Speak:
If it’s me, and I am tired of my fans complaining about no winning, not going to the playoffs, if I am tired of not seeing consistent quarterback play, yes I’m going to get Caleb Williams from USC. I gotta go do it… I think that Justin Fields is a super talent, but I don’t think he’s a good quarterback.

The Bears won their recent game against the Atlanta Falcons, 37-17. Fields had a great game as he threw for 268 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 45 yards and one score. The Bears will hope to finish their season on a positive note this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
Justin Fields talks about ending the Bears season with a win on Sunday
The Chicago Bears will end their season against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. They have been great in recent weeks and will look to win again in week 18. One of the major reasons for the Bears’ four wins in their last five games is the team’s QB Justin Fields.
He has improved tremendously and will look to put on a show on Sunday. He spoke about the matchup and the importance of winning the final game of the season.
Fields said, via Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times:
I think it would mean a lot to the team, the fans, the city. I think it’d be great. We know Green Bay’s playing for a lot, what’s at stake. They’re playing for a playoff spot right now. So I just think that with all of that on the table it would be a great feeling to end the season with a win in Lambeau up there.Justin Fields said
The Bears and the Packers played each other back in week 1. Fields and the Chicago-based team were humbled by Green Bay as they lost the game, at home, in humiliating fashion. The Bears will now hope to seek revenge on Sunday.
