The NBA playoffs have been absolute chaos so far. Especially, the first-round series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies have no shortage of entertainment. The series is tied 1-1 and the Grizzlies would be heading to Los Angeles for the third game. After the second-game victory, the Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks trash-talked the Lakers star LeBron James which led to massive outrage on social media.

Dillon Brooks is well known for trash-talking his opponents. After the Grizzlies tied the series by winning game 2 despite missing their premium shooting guard Ja Morant, Brooks talked trash about the Lakers forward LeBron James and called him “old.”

His comments about one of the greatest basketball players ever led to Brooks receiving a massive backlash on social media. Many experts including the former Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy called out Brooks for his trash-talk antics.

During a recent episode of the Fox Sports show Speak, the 2-time Super Bowl Champion LeSean McCoy trashed Dillon Brooks and claimed that LeBron James shouldn’t respond to the 27-year-old Grizzlies star.

“Who is Dillon Brooks to be talking about LeBron James? He’s been in the league since 2017, right now, six years, no All-Star appearances, no first-team defense, No second-team. You see the corner, you let Ja Morant do his thing and then kick out,” said the former Eagles running back.

The former Buffalo Bills running back LeSean continued to savagely roast the Memphis Grizzlies star Dillon Brooks by claiming that the forward is only known around the league for his controversial interviews.

“So your game is super basic… I just hate when players like Dillon Brooks get so much attention for things not done on the court. Dillon Brooks, I don’t even know, what he’s known for it, though, for interviews?”‘

“Some players don’t deserve a response and Dillon Brooks is in that category, of a guy who hasn’t accomplished nothing. Like, let’s be honest for a second if he didn’t say this about LeBron James, he would never be on no TV station,” said McCoy in a recent episode of the show Speak.

Nevertheless, Dillon Brooks has just given some bulletin board material to LeBron James and the LA Lakers. When the Lakers host the Grizzlies in game 3 this weekend, James might put up a legendary performance against the Memphis-based basketball team. Also, Ja Morant might be available for the Grizzlies in game 3 which would make this a much more entertaining contest.
