The Dallas Cowboys have done a great job in the off-season to get some help to their franchise quarterback Dak Prescott in the upcoming NFL season. They are trying to dethrone the defending NFC East champions, Philadelphia Eagles. But the Fox Sports analyst Bucky Brooks claims Prescott already owns the division, which seemingly upset the former Eagles RB LeSean McCoy.

During the recent episode of the Fox Sports show Speak, the show host Emmanuel Acho asked Bucky Brooks whether the Cowboys have the advantage over the Eagles in the NFC East division. “I think they got’em because when Dak Prescott is healthy and available he owns the division,” answered Bucky Brooks.

As soon as Brooks said that, LeSean McCoy got down from his chair and walked out of the set, which caused some chaos. Apart from McCoy, the show’s co-host Joy Taylor also seemed a little confused with Brooks’ take, but later claimed that she would agree with that statement.

Nonetheless, McCoy came back to his seat a few minutes after walking off the set. He claimed that he needed a timeout and joked that his therapist has advised him to walk away from situations like that.

Brooks’ statement might seem outrageous, but it has some truth to it. Prescott is 27-7 against NFC East opponents in his career as a starter. He just hasn’t been able to win anything in the postseason. Besides, the Cowboys have won the NFC East title 3 times since drafting Prescott. So, it’s not outrageous for Bucky Brooks to claim that Prescott owns the division when he’s fully healthy.

The Dallas Cowboys, under their expensive quarterback Dak Prescott, have been competing for the Super Bowls for the last few years. Despite their good record in the regular season, the Cowboys haven’t won anything in the postseason.

The Cowboys have seen early exits from the postseason in the last two years. And now, if history repeats in the upcoming season, Prescott’s time in Dallas might come to an end.

Jerry Jones, the general manager of the Dallas-based football team roped in the former Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks in the off-season. A legit number 2 receiver, Cooks would help Prescott in the passing game.

Jones also added some defensive help as they acquired the veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore to their squad. In brief, the Cowboys are ready to compete for the title this year but it all depends on Prescott’s ability.
