Another day of disappointment for the Chicago Bears fans, after their team lost by a large margin following a 41-10 defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs had a brilliant display of football while the Bears never really got going. It was yet another impoverished footballing performance by none other than Justin Fields who failed to create any impact on the field. Following the game, some analysts raised a finger at him saying that he is no longer capable of creating any difference between his team and the opponents.

Among these analysts, Leason McCoy is one of them. In one of the episodes of his famous talk show, the former player and the present-day analyst said, “I just think right now he is far behind as a starter. When I watch Justin Fields play, I don’t see any development. We all know he runs behind the ball. Tremendous athlete. But I do not see any development. They gave you the number one wide receiver D.J. Moore, who was phenomenal,” the analyst added.

This is not the first time, the player is getting attacked or criticized by an analyst. His performance has attracted criticism over the games. Prior to this, Colin Cowherd also echoed the nearly same words. He also said that there is no sign of development for the player.

He concluded by saying, “I don’t think he is an elite quarterback. It is time to move on.”

Justin Fields’ performance this season

Fields has been disappointing this season. He failed to create any on-field impact. In three matches the player completed only 526 yards and had a passing completion rate of less than 60%. He was intercepted four times against his three interceptions. ‘

He was pathetic against the Kansas City Chiefs. He covered less than 100 passing yards (99) and had just one touchdown. He was intercepted once. He finished the game with a quarterback rating of 58.7%.

Frustrated by his performance, the fans also expressed their fury towards him. It is to be seen whether they bring someone else in the place of him.
