Super Bowl parade shooting victim Lisa Lopez-Galvan to be buried in Chiefs’ kicker Harrison Butker’s jersey
Lisa Lopez-Galvan was a victim of the Super Bowl parade shooting that happened last Wednesday.

Last week, a tragic incident happened at the Kansas City Chiefs‘ Super Bowl parade after some people started shooting during the celebration. 22 people were injured as a result of the shooting and a Chiefs fan named Lisa Lopez-Galvan lost her life. And now, reports suggest Lopez-Galvan is set to be laid to rest in Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s jersey.
At the parade, Lisa Lopez-Galvan was wearing a white Harrison Butker jersey. A member of her family posted on social media that they were looking to lay her to rest in Butker’s jersey, but they were having trouble finding one. As the word got around the Chiefs’ kingdom, it reached the ears of the Chiefs’ kicker himself.
As a result, Butker delivered a jersey to the grieving family while also paying tribute to her in a statement. The Chiefs kicker also said he hopes to see the people involved in this incident be brought to justice.
My wife Isabelle and I are heartbroken by the murder of Lisa due to degenerate violence. Murder is a sin that cries out to God for vengeance and I pray the men involved in this tragedy will be brought to justice.Harrison Butker said in a statement
Furthermore, the Chiefs kicker also shared how both he and the parade victim sharing Catholic Faith made the whole thing more personal. Butker said he is honored to provide a jersey for the victim’s burial.

Taylor Swift donated $100,000 to Lisa Lopez-Galvan’s family
Following the tragic incident at the Super Bowl parade which took the life of the Chiefs’ Super fan Lisa Lopez-Galvan, many people have joined hands to support her family during this dire situation. The Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift also joined in to financially support them.
The 14-time Grammy Award-winning singer donated $100,000 to Lopez-Galvan’s GoFundMe page. She also shared a condolence message to her family along with the donation.
The funeral for Lisa Lopez-Galvan will be held Friday and she will be laid to rest on Saturday. The 43-year-old leaves behind a husband, two children, a stepdaughter, four grandchildren, her parents and three siblings.
