“I have lost faith in Jerry Jones,” Former Cowboys player Marcus Spears rips apart franchise owner for lethargic approach during the offseason

The Dallas Cowboys have not tasted Super Bowl glory for a while now, with their last title coming way back in 1996, when they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers. The lack of trophies for the franchises have started to get to their former players turned fans.
Former Cowboys defensive end, Marcus Spears is one of those, who seems to have had enough of Jerry Jones as the owner of the franchise. Currently a TV show personality, Spears spent about 7 seasons with the Cowboys and is yearning for another Super Bowl title.
Marcus Spears does not agree with Jery Jones’approach of saving money during the offseason

However, the 39-year old defensive end does not believe that the Dallas Cowboys would be able to end the long wait this year, and has called out Jerry Jones for that particular reason. Speaking on the show, First Take, Marcus Spears made his displeasure clear on Jones’ poor approach during the offseason which has seen them not being active enough in the transfers of footballers.
He said, “I have not lost faith in Rain Dakota Prescott. You know who I lost faith in and I have a lot of faith that Is reasoning for it, It’s Jerry Jones, Ok? Listen, y’all, did y’all see all these moves these teams made to get better this off-season, What Dallas did?” Stephen A Smith responded and said, “Save money!”
Marcus Spears has shown some patience this season but Cowboys’ dormant signing ritual this offseason has got to him very quickly.
Spears further said, “In order to win a Championship, you have to become better as a football team, and they ain’t did that. I bet you this off-season Mark Cuban will.”
