For the first time in many years, the Packers weren’t able to make the playoffs and questions are being asked about Rodgers’ ability with the ball. The veteran QB recently opted for a 4-day darkness retreat in Southern Oregon to think about his future.
Rodgers has ended his darkness retreat. However, there have been no further advancements in his career. There are rumors making rounds claiming that the Packers QB is considering retirement while also thinking about moving to New York for the Jets.
With so much anticipation surrounding him, NFL analyst Louis Riddick is fed up with the Super Bowl-winning QB and his theatrics that take place every year in the offseason. Riddick was recently featured on the First Take on ESPN and spoke extensively about Rodgers’ current situation. The former NFL RB is frustrated with Rodgers and the surrounding drama. While he also made the assessment that the QB will return to the Packers eventually as he has played for the team throughout his entire career.
“Nothing would surprise me with this guy at this point in time,” Louis Riddick said on First Take on ESPN. “Honestly, it gets exhausting having this conversation every offseason about whether or not he even wants to play the game in the first place.”

Riddick also gave the example of the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes while explaining his point. Mahomes just won the second Super Bowl of his career while everyone was counting him out.
