Tickets to Super Bowl LVIII were predicted to be the highest they had ever been. Even Christian McCaffrey‘s fiancee, Olivia Culpo, had trouble booking a suite after seeing how much it cost.

Culpo wanted to surprise the San Francisco 49ers running back’s mom, Lisa, by gifting her an exclusive room at Allegiant Stadium so that she could enjoy the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs. Players are usually given two free tickets to invite a few close family and friends. Apart from that, 13 more are made available for purchase at face value.

Until Friday morning, there were a few suites available for purchase. Their price ranged from $300,000, which included 4 tickets, to $420,000 for 8 tickets. However, if someone had planned to watch the game with the entire crib, they would have to cough up over a couple of million dollars.

A Bleacher Report study revealed that to book a suite that could accommodate 20 people, one would have to pay a staggering $2.5 million. Culpo reportedly managed to secure one for Lisa. It’s still unclear how the former Miss Universe did it, but at least they can enjoy the game with the best views inside the stadium.

Even before Culpo bagged an entire suite, as per Lisa McCaffrey, she was facing trouble because of the astronomical amount. She revealed this during a recent segment of her ‘Your Mom podcast.’

McCaffrey said,

We looked into a suite, and none of us can afford it. Not even Christian, money bags over there—nor money bags Olivia. So, we’re not in a suite; I’ll tell you that right now.

Unfortunately, not everyone can get out and spend millions of dollars on football tickets. Here is a brief list of what booking websites are saying about how much one has to spend.

This year’s Super Bowl has clinched the title of the most expensive edition ever. Well, the first reason is the location itself—Las Vegas—from hotel to transport fair—which is above average in other cities. Second is the availability of pop icon Taylor Swift, who will be making a round trip from Tokyo to cheer for her beau Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
