The Harbaugh brothers may soon be facing off against one another in the NFL the following season. After Jim Harbaugh led the Michigan Wolverines to the National Championship, it is largely believed that he will now look to return to the NFL as a head coach and win a Super Bowl

While the Los Angeles Chargers have been the team that has expressed interest in Harbaugh, he appears to have his eyes set on another team.

The Las Vegas Raiders and Jim Harbaugh appear to be mutually interested in one another, as per Jordan Schultz. The head coach of the Wolverines is “at or near the top of” owner Mark Davis‘ list, thereby making him a possible candidate with the best odds of securing this job.

Jim Harbaugh reportedly has “a lot of interest” in the Chargers vacancy as well but is not taking the Raiders off his list of possible teams to coach.

This is very interesting, as the HC is weighing all his options carefully. He hired Don Yee, one of the top agents in the NFL, to represent him this offseason.

Most recently, the Washington Commanders have also expressed interest in Harbaugh, but the coach’s stance towards the team remains a mystery.

Jim Harbaugh is yet to announce his future coaching plans

The Las Vegas Raiders have turned themselves around after Josh McDaniels was fired midseason. Antonio Pierce has been a dark horse for the team and has gained the respect of everyone in the locker room and within the building of the organization.

Everyone is rooting for the man to become the full-time HC of the team.

Mark Davis is risking repeating history here. After Jon Gruden resigned in 2021, Joe Bisaccia was appointed as the team’s interim HC and went on to lead the team to a good record in the season and the playoffs.

However, Davis made the faulty decision of hiring Josh McDaniels despite having seen the capabilities of Bisaccia. The team struggled under McDaniels and players DID NOT like him.

Now, with Antonio Pierce, who has proven that he can do wonders with this team despite having a subpar quarterback with Aidan ‘O Connell, Davis is yet again looking at external candidates and ogling over them.

Jim Harbaugh is a great coach, no doubt but will he be able to recreate the same magic in Vegas is a big question.

One thing is clear, if this time Davis does not listen to the voices within his organization rooting for Pierce, his status and credibility risk taking a big hit.

Jim Harbaugh has coached in the NFL before and led the San Francisco 49ers to the Super Bowl where he lost to the Baltimore Ravens, coached by his brother John Harbaugh.

It has been a long time since he’s coached in the NFL, but Davis cannot be blamed for considering him because, unlike McDaniels, he has shown he can be successful as a head coach.

Jim Harbaugh has a lot of teams in the NFL eyeing him after his remarkable season at Michigan, it will be interesting to see where he decides to head in the offseason.
