Aaron Rodgers is one of the biggest names in the world of the NFL. No matter what he has said and done over the past year or so, one just can’t deny that he is indeed a fantastic quarterback who can single-handedly change the outcomes of the games.
However, the world knows how much Rodgers love to stay in the news. Who can forget what happened when he lied about getting jabbed and all the drama which transpired during his negotiations with the Packers a little while ago. To add to all this, he kept on giving rather unusual statements, one after the other which eventually resulted in him making the headlines every other day.

While most of the time Rodgers himself was responsible for landing in controversies, this time around, a piece of fake news has landed him into a similar space. An image was making rounds on social media which suggested that Aaron Rodgers had claimed that Kirk Cousins and he would become the best QBs the franchises have seen even if they end up playing for the Lions or the Bears.
“Kirk and I are actually good friends. He’s someone I respect a lot. We have similar beliefs and values. Each off-season his family will come out and have a meal at my place, he always invites me out to return the favor. You just don’t see players like him and I very often in the league. Take the North for example, if you put him or I on the Lions or Bears we would be the best QB that franchise has ever seen,” the quote read.
As soon as Super Bowl champion Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly came across this piece of news, she instantly jumped in to defend her husband. “Ya you’re wrong. Maybe the bears. maybe,” she wrote in response. As it turns out, Aaron never said anything like this to anyone and by mistake, Kelly ended up reacting to a piece of fake news.
So in the end, what many were expecting to be a start of a new controversial chapter, turned out to be just a case of misunderstanding.
