Maxx Crosby is one of the best pass rushers in the league. Although the Las Vegas Raiders are 3-5 this season, Crosby has been producing at an elite level for the Raiders this season. The Raiders’ week 8 game against the Detroit Lions ended in a 14-26 loss for the Raiders. However, the game meant much more for Crosby than any other game this season.

Crosby, a Michigan native, grew up a “die-hard” fan of the Lions. The Detroit-based team had a chance to get Crosby during the 2019 NFL Draft but passed on him three times. He eventually ended up with the Raiders in the fourth round. Crosby was fired up to play his hometown team as he said that he “remembers everything.”

I cannot wait. That's all I can say. I wouldn't say I was mad, but, I remember everything. I remember everything. Let's just leave it at that.

Crosby had a great game against the Lions. He recorded 8 total tackles during the game, but the Raiders lost the game by 12 points.

Crosby so far this season has recorded 6.5 sacks. He is a very important member of the Raiders squad. If the Raiders have to make a playoff push this season, Crosby will have to have an elite season for them. The Raiders will play the New York Giants in their next game.

Crosby said about his alma mater:

You know, Eastern [Michigan] is the whole reason I was able to get a Division 1 opportunity to play football, able to chase my dreams and go after what my ultimate goal was, to make it to the NFL. I always talk about legacy, that’s something that’s the most important thing to me. Money, all the things that come with playing in the NFL are great, but I want to leave a legacy, not only for myself, but for my family, my daughter, my wife, who also went to Eastern Michigan.
