Recently, the 23-year-old Cowboys LB was absolutely floored by WNBA star Caitlin Clark’s performance against South Carolina, which also helped Iowa to challenge for the championship against the LSU. The championship game was one to remember, as every pass and point of the game was important to determine the fate of the game.

However, Parsons was increasingly getting frustrated by the refs and believed that there were some questionable calls in the game that were completely in the favor of LSU. “These refs are trying to give the game to lsu!! That’s wild,” Micah Parsons stated on Twitter. Although the Cowboys LB didn’t mention the foul he was talking about, it’s safe to assume he was criticizing the technical foul give to Clark during the game.

Many believe that the technical foul was highly unnecessary. It occurred because Clark tossed the ball after the play was ruled out. This led the officiators to book the young WNBA star.

Despite the foul, Clark was one of the best players on the court with a game high, 30 points. However, it wasn’t enough for her to win the game for her team as the LSU won 102-85.

The NFL is one of the most physical leagues in the world. Players like Micah Parsons are usually on the front lines during the scrimmage and are exposed to many of these fouls.

Last season was not good for the Cowboys LB as he was denied many holding calls by the refs which were pretty evident if looked at closely. Many even called out the referees for abusing their power against a generational talent like Parsons.

However, that didn’t stop Parsons from being one of the best in the league in his position. He was only behind 49ers Nick Bosa, who won the defensive player of the year award.

Micah Parsons was an instrumental player for the Cowboys and recorded 13.5 sacks last season. While still 23 years of age, the young LB still has a long way to go. On the other hand, the controversial calls by the referees will surely need to change.
