Micah Parsons claims Patrick Mahomes will surpass Tom Brady to become the greatest quarterback to ever play the game

Patrick Mahomes had a terrible game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. After leading the Kansas City Chiefs to six consecutive wins, Mahomes came up short against the Broncos. It wasn’t even close, as Denver demolished the Chiefs and held them to less than 10 points. Mahomes had his worst game of the season on Sunday.

However, it is worth noting that Mahomes was apparently under the weather during the game. He had the flu but still took the field with his teammates. The Broncos’ defense, though, was dialed in throughout the game.

Even after a poor performance, Mahomes is still the best quarterback in the world, and according to Dallas Cowboys’ LB Micah Parsons, he is still the best bet to surpass the legendary Tom Brady.

Mahomes is certainly on pace to do incredible things in the league, just like Brady did during his time.

Mahomes was drafted in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Since coming to the league, Mahomes has won two Super Bowls and has been selected as the league MVP twice. He has already cemented himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and will look to add to that legacy this season as well.

Patrick Mahomes credits Broncos as the ‘better team’ on Sunday

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs lost their Week 8 game against the Denver Broncos last Sunday. The Chiefs’ offense had its worst performance of the season, and Mahomes in particular had a rough night. The QB credited the Broncos and called them the ‘better team’ after the game.

Obviously, I felt the worst I’ve felt walking out of the stadium. It’s a great environment. I actually had a lot a lot of fun playing here. The fans are awesome. They enjoy the game and know the game, but it just kind of is what it is. They beat us, they were a better football team today and I give them their props.
Mahomes said in his post game press conference

The Chiefs are 6-2 through eight games of the season. They are still well placed in the AFC and will look to bounce back in their next game against the Miami Dolphins. The game will take place in Germany.
