Cowboys’ Micah Parsons defends Dak Prescott in front of Stephen A. Smith and admits he could’ve done better in the Packers playoff game

Micah Parsons, the star linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, has once again proved his staunch loyalty to the signalcaller Dak Prescott. The LB stated that the team did not lose the playoffs game because of Prescott. Instead, it was his fault on multiple occasions where he failed to win situations over the Green Bay Packers in the wild card game.

The most astonishing part in this case was, that Parsons defended Prescott in front of Stephen A. Smith, an ardent Cowboys and Dak Prescott hater. Smith used a lot of harsh words against Dak and the Cowboys after they lost against the Green Bay Packers in the wildcard game.

There was an important time when Dak does throw a pick at the crucial moment like Pat did. And I have to say, yo folk you do not have to stress, I got you. You just need to come back... San Francisco game, you could say we could not win the game we had 13 or 19 points, but in the Green Bay game, we could have done better.

Throughout the conversation, Parsons defended his quarterback like a strong commander. He kept on comparing Dak with other quarterbacks and indicated that others get good support from their defenses, while Prescott never had the fortune to rely on his defense.

Stephen A. Smith, on his part, mentioned that Prescott did play with a high-quality defense this season. The Lb refuted the claim by saying the Cowboys improved their defense lineup in the last three years. Citing examples from the other team he said that Patrick Mahomes got great help from his defense and even Brock Purdy threw four interceptions but all of them succeded due to the help of their defenses. He in fact stated that defenses win championships.

Micah Parsons fought with the analysts over Dak Prescott slander earlier as well

This is not the first time Micah Parsons fought against the analysts for his quarterback. During the season, Parsons took on a lot of analysts for criticizing Dak Prescott. Emmanuel Acho was one of the analysts who received the heat from the Cowboys LB.

I just don't condone the bashing of Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys and have the same energy for the Eagles. We want the same energy for everybody because there's a whole bunch of bashing when is Dak Prescott but not to say when it's the Eagles.

Despite not providing success in the postseason, Prescott keeps on enjoying the support from his teammates. It is to be seen whether it adds a different chemistry in the coming season.
