Micah Parsons is fighting a lone battle with national media for himself, his team, the Dallas Cowboys, and his quarterback Dak Prescott. Multiple times, the linebacker is spotted taking dogs at ESPN analysts for undermining his team. Once again, the LB stepped up and lashed out at the media for bullying him.

Talking to the press on Thursday, Micah Parsons said:

Nah. I’m the face. I’m giving them their content. They (the media)’re basically stealing my content. They’re wrong. They’re doing exactly what I say they’re going to do. Whether we win or lose, they’re going to have something to say. And people think I’m shying from criticism.

The LB further added:

No. Criticism is not the problem. Just criticize everyone with the same energy. They’re just as a big a bullies as these other guys. People decide who wants to give breaks to. I wasn’t raised like that. I treat everybody the same. I talk about everybody the same, give everyone the same benefit of the doubt. That’s the type of real person that I stand on. A lot of these dudes ain’t real.

It’s speculated that Parsons was referring to Emmanuel Acho, who, from the recent episodes of his talk show ‘Speak,’ criticized him. The fiasco is a bit complicated. Parsons took a jibe at Acho for criticizing the Cowboys unnecessarily and not giving attention to the other teams who have also registered a few losses.

Acho then hit back at Parsons in a video on his X profile and said:

Hold on now, Micah; congrats on the dub yesterday; however, the 49ers were without McCaffrey and Deebo in the middle of the game; we know Nick Chubb is not returning this season, so I no longer factored him on the Cleveland Browns roster because he is actually not on the roster.

Along with good form on the turf, Micah Parsons has developed a habit of fighting with the media. This is not the first time that he took a dig at the national press.

It started with the linebacker protesting against the ‘injustice’ that the media had channeled against his quarterback, Dak Prescott. Multiple analysts indeed questioned Parsons and his team quite a few times. They also criticized Dak vehemently for not providing him at the right moment and the right time. Parsons had problems with all these things.

Micah Parsons has become the backbone of Cowboys’ defense

The Dallas Cowboys linebacker has become a star this season. He has been the most successful performer of this Dallas team this year. The Dallas defense had the numbers of their opponents and Parsons took a pivotal role in that. In the absence of Trevon Diggs, he handled the defensive responsibilities well.

In six games, the player made 20 combined tackles (nine assisted and eleven solo). He has also registered 5.0 sacks in the league.

The Cowboys have some interesting fixtures in the coming time. The Dallas-based team will be playing the Los Angeles Rams and the Philadelphia Eagles in the coming weeks. Parsons has to play a good role in that.
