The Dallas Cowboys, led by their star quarterback Dak Prescott, squared off against their NFC East division rivals Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. In the game, there were many questionable penalties called by the referees on the Cowboys, but one particular no-call on Micah Parsons received a lot of attention.

During the final minutes of the fourth quarter, the Eagles held a 5-point lead and were facing a 2nd and 8 from their own 26-yard line. Jalen Hurts, who received the snap from the shotgun position, scanned the field before taking off with the ball.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys’ Micah Parsons was trying to tackle Hurts, but he was blatantly held by the Eagles’ offensive guard Landon Dickerson, which allowed Hurts to gain some positive yards on the play.

The referees didn’t call the hold on Dickerson and Hurts managed to gain some yards. After the play was over, Parsons was furious with the officials for not throwing the flag and expressed his frustration. He had a brief talk with the officials about the blatant hold after the play. Check out the footage attached below.

Nonetheless, Parsons had a good game on Sunday, as he registered 1.5 sacks against the strong Eagles offensive line. Parsons was constantly applying pressure on the QB and was wreaking havoc in the Eagles’ backfield.

Apart from Parsons, quarterback Prescott had a great game, registering 374 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Still, he couldn’t help the Cowboys outduel the Philly-based football team. In the end, the Dallas-based football team ended up suffering a 28-23 loss in the crucial division game.

Micah Parsons had 1.5 sacks in the game, totaling his tally to 7.5 sacks in the season. But, as a unit, they couldn’t outduel the Eagles and suffered a rough defeat on Sunday. Next, the Cowboys will take on another one of the division rivals, the New York Giants, this Sunday.
