Micah Parsons is arguably the best linebacker in the league currently. Ever since he entered the league, the Dallas Cowboys linebacker has been a solid player in Dan Quinn’s defensive unit. However, his off-field activities in recent days have fans questioning his loyalty to the Cowboys since he was seen wearing a Philadelphia 76ers jersey during their Eastern Conference semifinals matchup against the Boston Celtics.

A week ago, Micah Parsons, a Pennsylvania native, was seen wearing a 76ers jersey during an NBA playoff game. Parsons was ripped on social media by the Cowboys fans for wearing a jersey of their division-rival town’s sports team. Furthermore, the Philadelphia Eagles fans insinuated that the two-time Pro Bowl edge rusher wants to play for the Eagles soon.

However, Parsons defended his choice to wear a 76ers jersey by claiming that he was just wearing a jersey of the 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey, who is originally from Texas. And now, for whatever reason, the 2-time All-Pro linebacker was seen wearing a Boston Celtics jersey during game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference finals.

Before the game, Parsons had a little chat with the Celtics guard Jayson Tatum, who called out Parsons for supporting his opponents in round 2 of the NBA postseason. Perhaps, Parsons wore a Celtics jersey to get on the good side of the star forward.

Fans on social media whacked the Cowboys star LB Micah Parsons for supporting the Boston Celtics just days after rooting for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA postseason. The Celtics eliminated the 76ers in the Eastern Conference semifinals, and now Parsons has jumped ship to root for the Boston-based basketball team. Check out some of the fans’ reactions below!

Some fans insinuated that Parsons might’ve lost a bet and might’ve been forced to wear a jersey of the Celtics, who eliminated his hometown team 76ers. But it seems like Parsons willingly wore a Celtics jersey.

On the business side of things, Micah Parsons is reportedly bulking up in the off-season. The 2022 DPOY finalist has decided to move to the defensive end position from linebacker. So, he has been putting on some weight to deal with the bigger offensive linemen.

Parsons, who registered 13.5 sacks last season as an outside linebacker, will certainly accumulate more sacks if he played as a full-time pass rusher. And playing as a defensive end will also increase the salary if he gets franchise tagged once his contract with the Cowboys expires.
