Micah Parsons is one of the most active football players on the Internet. The Cowboys’ superstar linebacker has a good grasp of all the trending topics and doesn’t speak without thinking first. His take on a lot of controversial topics is often lauded by fans around the league.
A few days back, the Fast and Furious franchise announced that they will be rolling out their 11th and final iteration of the franchise. Micah Parsons wasn’t elated at the news, unlike fans around the globe.
The 23-year-old feels that the franchise should’ve ended with Paul Walker’s death. He tweeted, “We gotta stop man! They should stopped after fast 7! It’s just not the same without Paul!” Paul Walker, one of the main characters of the franchise died in a horrible car crash back in 2013. Since then, there have been four more Fast and Furious movies.
The 11th installment will bring an end to the most loved movie franchise in the world. Fans from every country will be lining up outside the theaters to watch the movie that will tie the knot in the Fast and Furious franchise.
Micah Parsons is the centerpiece of the Cowboys’ defense
The Dallas Cowboys selected Micah Parsons 12th overall in the 2021 NFL draft. Parsons turned out to be the best decision the Cowboys took in quite a while. He was an absolute beat right off the bat. Parsons ended his rookie season with 84 tackles and 13 sacks winning the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
Last season, the Cowboys were ranked the fifth-best defense in points allowed per game (20.1) thanks to Micah Parsons. The Penn State alum ended the 2022 camping with 65 tackles and 13.5 sacks and 1 touchdown.
Parsons was in the lead to win the Defensive Player of the Year award but with the Cowboys having a rollercoaster season as always, 49ers’ Nick Bosa took the award home.
The Cowboys have added veteran cornerback Stephen Gilmore to the roster making their defense even more formidable and an absolute nightmare to face for offenses. Micah Parsons will look to lead in takeaways for a third straight season in 2023 as he is showing zero signs of slowing down. Let’s just hope the offense is nearly as good enough as the defense in the coming season to make it to the NFC Championship game after 28 long years.
