The Dallas Cowboys improved to 2-0 on Sunday after successfully defeating the New York Jets in their week 2 matchup. Dak Prescott, the star quarterback of the Cowboys, had a solid game against the tough Jets defense. But it was the Cowboys’ defense led by Micah Parsons that sealed the game in favor of the Dallas-based football team. Following the game, Parsons vowed to give it back to owner Jerry Jones and the Cowboys fans for changing his life.

“I’m just hungry. I don’t care if I’m gassed out,” Parsons told the reporters in the locker room after the victory. “Mind over matter. This organization changed my life, so I’m trying to give back to the fans and Mr. Jerry Jones.”

The star outside linebacker Parsons had a huge impact on the Cowboys’ victory as he registered 2 sacks and 4 tackles. Furthermore, he also helped the Cowboys defensive line to keep applying pressure on the Jets’ QB Zach Wilson, which resulted in the quarterback throwing 3 interceptions.

It’s not just about the numbers, but Micah Parsons’ presence on the field had a huge impact on the Cowboys’ defensive unit. Parsons and the Cowboys’ defense completely took out the Jets’ rushing attack from the game and forced Wilson to use his arm, which didn’t go well for the Jets. Prescott and the Dallas offense fed on that momentum and scored 30 points against the tough New York defense.

As a result, the Cowboys humiliated the Jets on Sunday and won by a 20-point difference. The Cowboys’ star receiver CeeDee Lamb caught 11 passes for 143 receiving yards and helped his team to a smooth victory against the New York-based football team.

Cowboys LB Micah Parsons is off to a great start in 2023

If there is any defensive player that could end up winning the MVP award in 2023, it’s the Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons. He is off to a fiery start in the 2023 season and is looking to continue his hot streak.

Parsons is currently tied for second position in the NFL sack leaders list with 3 sacks in 2 games. He registered 1 sack in the Cowboys’ week 1 game against the New York Giants and registered 2 sacks in his second game against the Jets.

If Micah Parsons can keep this pace, he will certainly lead the league in sacks at the end of the season. But for now, he would simply be focused on the Arizona Cardinals, who the Cowboys are scheduled to face on Sunday in their week 3 game.
