On Sunday, the Buffalo Bills, led by their star quarterback Josh Allen, went against their AFC East division rivals New York Jets in a crucial week 11 clash. The Bills ended up securing a convincing victory against the Jets. Furthermore, both teams continued their battle even after the whistle as the Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins and the Jets’ defensive lineman Michael Clemons were seen involved in an altercation in the tunnel leading to the locker room.
In a brief video originally posted by CBS reporter Otis Livingston, the Jets’ DT Michael Clemons could be seen shouting at the Bills OL Dion Dawkins as they both walked into the tunnel. New York’s special teams coach Brant Boyer was trying to calm Thomas down, but the situation kept escalating.
There weren’t any punches thrown, but both Dawkins and Clemons kept shouting at each other and even got close to a fight. The Jets players including tight end C. J. Uzomah, linebacker C. J. Mosley, and cornerback Sauce Gardner all got into the altercation while the officials and others tried to separate both teams’ players. Check out the footage attached below.
According to reports, the beef between Clemons and Dion Dawkins started during the 4th quarter of the game, when the Jets defensive lineman threw Dawkins into the ground at the end of a play. Dawkins then lay on the ground for some time, pretending to be hurt before jumping and waving to the crowd.
Some believe the Jets’ defensive unit’s actions were a result of the frustration. The Jets got battered on Sunday as the Bills secured a huge 32-6 victory in a crucial game. The New York-based football team was completely outplayed on both sides of the ball in the game.
HC Robert Saleh walked away from the Michael Clemons-Dion Dawkins brawl
While the Jets players, including DT Michael Clemons and CB Sauce Gardner, were involved in a fierce altercation, their head coach Robert Saleh and QB Zach Wilson were seen walking away from the situation.

In a short video posted by The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt, Wilson and Saleh were seen walking away from the brawl. It is normal for head coaches and quarterbacks not to get into a brawl or an altercation.
But, somehow the NFL fans on social media started questioning Saleh’s leadership since he walked from the altercation instead of de-escalating it. Fans believed Robert Saleh had lost his locker room as their team continues to struggle on the field.
Nonetheless, the Jets fell to a 4-6 record with their Sunday’s loss. Next, they are scheduled to go against another division rivals, the Miami Dolphins, in their week 12 matchup.
