Stephen A. Smith’s ex-partner Michael Irvin reveals he feels like a ‘nervous rookie’ on partnering fellow Cowboys fanatic Skip Bayless at Undisputed

Michael Irvin is joining Skip Bayless on Fox Sports’ show Undisputed. He will be partnering with Keyshawn Johnson and Richard Sherman along with Bayless. Irvin and Johnson were previously part of the ESPN show First Take. Irvin and Johnson were both removed from ESPN and will now join Fox Sports.

Bayless has called this the ‘Dream Team’. On his Twitter account, he posted about it and urged fans to tune in to watch the newly formed team. Irvin, on his part, said that he is feeling like a ‘nervous rookie’. Irvin was removed from both ESPN and NFL Network amidst misconduct allegations.

“I must admit I feel like a nervous rookie about to play in his first @NFL game tomorrow morning. I am just so happy to be back around and talking about the game that I love the most!!!! DONT MISS THIS, I PROMISE THIS WILL BE MEGA SPECIAL!!!!,” Irvin wrote on his Twitter. He is clearly excited to work with his new employer.

Irvin is a former NFL player who won three Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys. He was one of the best wide receivers of his generation and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005. Now he will join another All-Star team to talk about football.

Michael Irvin was removed as NFL Network analyst for the Super Bowl

Prior to Super Bowl LVII, NFL Network analyst was informed that he would not be a part of the Super Bowl analysts panel. This came after a woman filed a complaint against Irvin about his conduct in a hotel in Arizona. NFL Media had said Irvin “will not be a part of NFL Network’s Super Bowl LVII week coverage.”

Irvin had denied all these allegations and had said, “Honestly, I’m a bit baffled with it all, This all happened in a 45-second conversation in the lobby. When I got back after going out I came into the lobby and I talked to somebody. I talked to this girl. I don’t know her, and I talked to her for about 45 seconds. We shook hands. Then, I left….That’s all I know.”

The hotel footage of the alleged encounter was later released and it showed that Irvin only had a lengthy conversation with the woman who accused him. Irvin will now be a part of the Fox Sports show Undisputed with Skip Bayless. Partnering with Irvin on the show will be Keyshawn Johnson and Richard Sherman.
