Aaron Rodgers will play for the New York Jets this season. That has not gone well in Milwaukee, where Rodgers played all his career for the Green Bay Packers. After numerous winning seasons and a Super Bowl triumph in Green Bay, Rodgers decided he needed a fresh start and joined the AFC and the Jets. Packers fans are doing their best to move on form the future hall of famer.
One such fan has taken his moving on to a different level. Jack’s American Pub, a local bar in Milwaukee recently announced that they will offer fans free drinks for every Aaron Rodgers and New York Jets loss. That’s one great marketing campaign! The entire city of Milwaukee would hope that the Jets lose all their games this season, just for the drinks.
The pub has set up some proper rules though. Of course, you have to be over 21, which is the age limit. Rodgers has to be starting the game, this deal does not include food and top-shelf liquor though. That’s a bummer! People need food with the drinks!
The Jets will open their season against the Buffalo Bills on September 11 and every Milwaukee native will be a honorary Bills and Josh Allen fan for 3 hours. The Jets should start Zach Wilson for the first series and then sub in Aaron Rodgers just to put some spice into those Milwaukee drinks. That would be hilarious.

Thomas Morstead goes Aaron Rodgers mode and tells fans to ‘relax’
Aaron Rodgers‘ famous R-E-L-A-X quote was recreated by the New York Jets’ punter Thomas Morstead after being released from the team. Morstead was a Super Bowl champion with the New Orleans Saints and went to the Pro Bowl as well. He became a fan favorite in New York and the news of his release by the team shocked a lot of them.
Morstead though, took to Twitter and urged fans to ‘relax’ and told them “We’re gonna be ok”. This was a call back to Aaron Rodgers’ time with the Green Bay Packers when he told Packers fans to relax after a tough start to the season in 2014. The Packers eventually ended up with a record of 12-4 that season after a 1-2 start.
The Jets have finalized their 2023 NFL roster after cut deadline. They will now look forward to facing the Buffalo Bills on the first MNF game of the season in the MetLife Stadium on September 10.
