Eli Apple, over the years, has had some questionable moments both on and off the field, but his latest antics may end up leading him to the nurse’s table. The cornerback has allegedly had a target put on his back by a social media influencer.
Instagram model Destani has brought forward some serious allegations against the 28-year-old football player. Destani claims during the offseason she and Apple had a fling, and the former New York Giants first-round pick got her pregnant.
Her allegations did not end there, however. She accused Apple of inappropriate behavior after he caught wind of the pregnancy. Issues began to pile up when she discovered her child had a heart condition and needed a transfusion.
Eli was a direct match, but the ex-Carolina Panthers player refused, as he was busy having intercourse with other women. On her Instagram, she wrote that besides her, Apple has gotten six other women pregnant as well.
She also put a bounty on Eli Apple, stating she would pay a fine to whoever could get Eli Apple’s knee during a match. It sounds like ‘Bounty Gate’ all over again.
Destani herself has been around the block for a while. She allegedly now has children with three NFL players. It is disputed that her first birth was with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith, and her second was with Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs.

Cam Smith aims to challenge Eli Apple for the Dolphins cornerback spot
While his off-field problems are rising, so are his problems on the turf. Eli Apple moved to the Miami Dolphins last month. Despite a stacked defensive line, his experience will come in handy. But rookie Cam Smith wants to challenge the former Bengals player.
The 22-year-old out of Blythewood, South Carolina, has hopes that he can push Apple for the starting cornerback spot. However, the former first-round pick Noah Igbinoghene is favored to start on the opposite flank of Xavien Howard.
Smith is aware that he will face stiff competition, considering he missed almost 10 days of practice. The USC graduate’s shoulder injury restricted him from doing any contact drills. However, he returned to 11-to-11 on Tuesday. He would be hoping to replace the injured Jalen Ramsey, which is why Eli Apple was added.
“It felt good,” Cam Smith told reporters after practice on Tuesday. “This was my first time getting back into contact.” He played against the Atlanta Falcons in the first preseason game on August 11. “I’m not promising anything. But it felt good today.” When asked whether he would feature in week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers, Smith said, “For sure.” (H/T: msn)
