“What’s in a name?” Shakespeare wrote centuries ago. Little did he have any idea that pronouncing the wrong name would lead an NFL analyst to trouble. Molly Qerim, one of the analysts who shares the stage on the show First Take made an ‘unforgivable’ mistake of calling Jim Harbaugh, John and the result was shocking.

The Michigan Wolverines lifted the National Championship under the coaching of Jim Harbaugh. The team had a fantastic college football season with 15 straight wins and zero losses. The winning run ended with the team lifting the Championship trophy. Jim Harbaugh, despite all the struggles this season, managed to lead his team to the highest peak of success.

John Harbaugh is Jim’s brother and is presently in charge of the Baltimore Ravens squad. Like his brother in college football, John has also done a similar job in professional football. He led the Ravens squad to the postseason as the best team in the entire NFL. They have bagged the No.1 seed spot in the AFC Championship. Both brothers had a great season in their respective zones.

Fans show no mercy to Molly Qerim

Qerim did not utter the wrong name once but twice. While introducing the manager to her fellow panelists, she said:

Rumors are swirling, John Harbaugh could have coached his last game in Michigan.

Knowing that she made a mistake, she quickly corrected herself and added: 

Excuse me, Jim Harbaugh.

This is not the first time anyone got confused between the two brothers. It was a pretty well-known mistake among the analysts. For a long time, analysts used to get confused between the two brothers. Moreover, John Harbaugh was present in the final game of the Michigan Wolverines. He was seen on the sidelines and also hugging his brother.
