“Most useless, wasted time interview,” Stephen A Smith launches a scathing attack on Dak Prescott’s media interaction skills

“Most useless, wasted time interview,” Stephen A Smith launches a scathing attack on Dak Prescott’s media interaction skills

Dak Prescott

The main objective of an NFL athlete is to perform on the field but when you are Dak Prescott, additional things are expected of you. One of those things is giving interviews to different analysts and reporters.

Recently Stephen A Smith hammered the Cowboys for his lack of initiative when giving interviews. When you are representing a major league team like the Dallas Cowboys you have to come across as charismatic and interesting, the least you can do is answer questions differently.

According to Stephen A Smith interviewing Dak Prescott is a complete waste of time and he calls Prescott his worst interview of all time. “He says the same thing every year, no matter what’s going on with the Cowboys,” Stephen A Smith said on the ESPN’s morning show. “He’s a pro at evading questions, you talk to him for minutes and you’ll walk away with nothing.”

Dak Prescott

Though Stephen A Smith usually criticizes the Cowboy’s QB a lot but this time he’s not completely wrong. Dak Prescott usually tries to evade the questions by offering diplomatic answers and it works sometimes, but if you are repeating the same thing every single time it frustrates the interviewer and you come off as one-dimensional.

“Asking Dak Prescott what the Cowboys are going to do is a waste of time.” Stephen A Smith said. “It’s a waste of camera time, It’s a waste of microphone time, It’s a waste of sunshine.”

Keeping his interview abilities aside Dak Prescott is a great player, he had a passing completion rate of 68.8%. Prescott threw for 4,449 yards while scoring 37 touchdowns. He’s a leader on and off the field for the Cowboys and maybe this is the reason he doesn’t want to come off as aggressive and always evades the questions with diplomatic answers.
