The matchup between the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts is nothing short of a duel for the former team. There is a lot at stake for the Patriots as there is an imminent risk of Bill Belichick losing his job if his team cannot win this game. If not Belichick, it could be Mac Jones but someone is bound to lose their job tonight.
Owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft is in attendance for the crucial game and with his team trailing by 4 in the 4th quarter, he could not help but bend his head in disappointment after the Patriots blew an opportunity to take the lead. The Patriots were just 10 yards away from the red zone and Mac Jones could not close it out.
It was a 3rd down play and Mac Jones overthrew the ball and it was caught by the Colts’ safety Julian Blackmon but the Patriots were lucky as the ball slipped right out of his hands and the play did not end in an interception.
Mac Jones’ overthrow cost the Patriots an opportunity to secure the lead
Irrespective of that, Robert Kraft could not believe his eyes, he just looked down and had a look of disappointment and despair having watched this team play in this manner all season long.
The New England Patriots have lost yet another game and Mac Jones’ overthrow did cost them a chance to have a shot at closing the gap. it will be a worrisome flight back from Frankfurt, Germany to the United States as everyone’s job is at risk.

Head Coach Bill Belichick is the most likely target, despite having served for 23 years and having won multiple Super Bowls, the past few seasons have been far from what he is accustomed to achieving with this team. Every coach does need to go, sooner or later and as unfortunate as it sounds, it is time for Bill Belichick to do the same.
