NFL forced NBA, ESPN, CBS, and Fox to air Taylor Swift movie promotions for free during the Jets-Chiefs game

The NFL can not get over its love for the famous popstar Taylor Swift as it requested its networks NBC, ESPN, Fox, and CBC to show promos for her upcoming movie free of cost. Among the networking channels, both ESPN and NBC accepted the request and showed promos during the content portion of their pregame shows on Sunday and Monday matchdays. 

ESPN played Swift’s movie promos for her concert during ‘Sunday NFL Countdown,’ and ‘Monday NFL Countdown.’ NBC also played the promo during its pregame show ‘Football Night in America,’ before the match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Jets. The ad time was paid for and those 30-second spots have also approached the neighborhood for a ‘Sunday Night Football’ game.

These actions triggered criticism from the set of fans and analysts. They accused the NFL of overdoing and over-promoting Taylor Swift. However, the NFL denied commenting on this. Swift’s phone was also not reachable, as per the NY Post. Hence, neither of them shared any word regarding this promotion.

Taylor Swift was present during the match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Jets last week. It was Swift’s second consecutive Chiefs game appearance this season. She went to cheer for his ‘rumored’ boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who plays as a tight-end for the Chiefs.

Kelce performed well and was pivotal in securing another victory for his team. However, Patrick Mahomes did not have the best of his nights as he struggled against the Jets. Nonetheless, the team managed to secure a victory.

Are the dating rumors coming true for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift?

The rumor that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are dating started spreading after the pop star was seen wearing a necklace with Kelce’s birthstone. Later, Kelce invited her to one of the match days of the Chiefs. Swift accepted the invitation and went to the ground to support Kelce and his team. She sat next to Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, and was spotted celebrating Kelce’s touchdown moment like a teenager. She jumped and burst into laughter once Kelce scored that vital touchdown. Later, both left the ground together.

Kelce also opened himself up for the first time regarding Swift after the match. He appreciated Swift’s gesture. Both were spotted at multiple post-game parties. It is also speculating in the air that both can acknowledge their relationship finally if all things work in line.
