“Nick Saban needs to apologize,” Colin Cowherd slams Alabama coach over his feud with Jimbo Fisher
Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher’s intense feud has captured the imagination of the whole of the NFL world in the last couple of days. The former accused the latter of buying in players and doing lots of unethical things.
Although none of those accusations have been proved against Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M, many have sided with the point of view held by the University of Alabama coach. However, as if to break the norm and bring about a new side, leading NFL analyst, Colin Cowherd slammed Nick Saban.
Colin Cowherd did not hold himself back during his rant against Nick Saban
The Fox Sports analyst called the Alabama head coach a hypocrite even though he has good relations with him. Cowherd explained that there has been proof of the Texas A&M of involving themselves in malpractices such as buying players.
“Nick (Saban) is being a hypocrite,” Cowherd explained. “Nick said it for a reason. Nick made it personal. Nick went over the line. Nick needs to apologize. There’s no proof Texas A&M is buying players…He ripped a coach, he ripped a program. It’s unprofessional and he frankly is held to a higher standard.”
Colin Cowherd continued, “Nick Saban is Mount Rushmore, he’s up there with Woody Hayes and Bobby Bowden and whoever you want to put up there.”
In all fairness until and unless these allegations against the Texas A&M and their head coach Jimbo Fisher is proven, Saban’s allegations can simply be termed as white noise. It remains to be seen what actually happens in the coming days and if Saban is proven right.
