The 2024 NFL offseason ought to be quite exciting, especially for the fans of Kirk Cousins. As the quarterback would have a big decision to make– whether to continue with the Minnesota Vikings or explore a better option in free agency.
But the bigger pressure is upon the Vikings’ heads as they have to make the right decision concerning the team’s future in the upcoming NFL season. Sports analyst Nick Wright gave an interesting take on the whole matter, as he suggested a bright landing spot for the star quarterback.

Ahead of the Super Bowl LVIII, Wright picked up the Kansas City Chiefs to win the big game, calling it his home team. It seemed clear that the analyst comes under those prominent names within the league, who doubted quarterback Brock Purdy’s credibility. He stood well on this statement when he shaded the second-year quarterback on the recent episode of First Things First.
Wright is not a Purdy fan, therefore, he does not believe the 24-year-old can lead the San Francisco 49ers to win the Super Bowl anytime, but the one who can do that is the Vikings’ star Cousins.
Wright said on Thursday on First Things First:
The best fit if he wants to win a Super Bowl is to go to his old high school sweetheart and the guy that didn’t scout Patrick Mahomes because he was so certain he was getting Kirk Cousins and Kyle Shanahan.Nick Wright said

But that isn’t all that Wright suggested. While arguing why the 49ers are the best fit for the veteran quarterback, the analyst also advised him to take a cheap deal, or rather a team-friendly deal if they offer, this offseason.

He argued:
The best fit is San Francisco on a cheap deal. Now, will he take less money? I don’t know if he would. I bet you Kyle would do it.Nick Wright said
Wright has firm belief in Cousins that he can end the 49ers Super Bowl victory drought since 1995.
Cousins was having a prosperous year with the Vikings before he suffered the season-ending Achilles injury whose recovery took the whole season. Now as he seems better, the quarterback is all set to enter the free agency, which is being considered as the best quarterback.
