The NFL world is more than happy to see Aaron Rodgers getting prepared for professional football again. After suffering a major Achilles Tendon injury in the very first game of the season; the NFL world had some worst fears. Many thought that Rodgers would announce his retirement soon after this tragedy.
However, Rodgers proved everyone wrong. With his tremendous perseverance and discipline, Rodgers triggered hope regarding his early return to the New York Jets as the starter. His perseverance was hailed and clapped by fans.

However, it failed to appease at least one person. Nick Wright. He had a jibe at the veteran quarterback. In the recent episode of the show ‘First Things First,’ the analyst called Rodgers the ‘most disingenuous athlete’. Wright said:
The commentary is not about your vaccination status, it’s about you being the most disingenuous athlete of my lifetime. --You were disingenuous about the vaccination... You were disingenuous about your retirement status. You were disingenuous about coming out of the dark room, ‘I’m going to play for the Packers.
Rodgers also suffered some criticism from the fans after he appeared on the team’s practice. He was suggested that he would suffer major issues if he did decide to take part in the games actively this season.
Wright also mocked Rodgers for his over-ambitious drive
Apart from questioning his intentions, Rodgers was also criticized for showing his over-ambitious drive to regain his ground by the First Take host. Wright said:
Aaron thinks he’s the relative on Thanksgiving that nobody wants to get caught in a corner with, because this guy tells you the hard truths. When in reality, it’s because you’ve told me to read The 48 Laws of Power and about Illuminati every Thanksgiving for a decade and I’m tired of it.

Rodgers was thought to make a comeback in the Christmas Eve game. However, his return has become uncertain now. Since the Jets have only two more games to go, Rodgers does not seem to have a comeback this season. He might be available for the next season. Nonetheless, the NFL fans can be sure about one thing; he does not seem to be thinking of retirement.
