Nick Wright lambasts Aaron Rodgers’ unprecedented rapid descent into ‘dangerous online behavior’ over implying Jimmy Kimmel as s*xual predator
Wright believes Aaron Rodgers' recent comments on Jimmy Kimmel show a disturbing pattern.

Aaron Rodgers has become the most trending topic across all NFL newsrooms after his recent comments addressing the ‘Epstein list’ on The Pat McAfee Show. The quarterback of the New York Jets took a dig at talk show host Jimmy Kimmel when he said “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hoping that doesn’t come out.”
This resulted in Kimmel threatening to take legal action over Rodgers for putting him and his family in harm’s way. Now, Nick Wright, the host of First Things First on FS1 has chimed in on this subject and he is seeing this from a different angle. He went on a rant on X (formerly known as Twitter) while pointing out that Aaron Rodgers has gone from being a mere “whacky conspiracist” to a “downright malignant voice” online.

Nick Wright is alarmed by the fact that the public has become numb to his evolution and nobody is concerned with the quarterback’s statements.
I don't really care about the McAfee or ESPN angle, that's not my place or my concern.Wright stated
The analyst made it clear that this was not about him taking shots at ESPN, the rival network of FOX Sports, the analyst is just speaking with reference to Aaron Rodgers’ comments surrounding Kimmel.
Nick Wright is outraged at Aaron Rodgers and believes the QB has overstepped with his most recent comments
Wright further stated,
One of America's most famous athletes baselessly and flippantly implied a colleague of his was a sexual predator and the entirety of the discussion around it has been about company politics and policies...rather than the objective fact that Rodgers has gone off the deep end.

Nick Wright has an issue with the fact that after Aaron Rodgers’ comments sparked controversy, the focus fell on ESPN and its policies on what guests can speak about while on air. But his biggest concern is that Aaron Rodgers just showed how influential he is, as despite being out for the entire year, he has managed to hog the headlines amongst media houses and is all over the internet.
I think we are missing the forest for the trees here: Aaron Rodgers, arguably the single most powerful player in the single most powerful league, is just speed running through every insane corner of the internet… and we are all numb to it.

It’s dangerous & unprecedented.
Wright dubbed this entire incident as “dangerous and unprecedented.” His rant on social media was met with backlash and negative comments from fans who called him out for exaggerating the gravity of the situation while others criticized him for remaining silent when Jimmy Kimmel made his “Rest in peace, wheezy” comment suggesting that unvaccinated Americans ought to be denied ICU beds and left to die.

This situation is absurd because the QB made a vague statement that is open to interpretation. His jibe at Kimmel should’ve been treated like a joke and not taken seriously, however, ironically enough, Kimmel, who has built his career off of hilarious skits that mock celebrities and politicians did not want to take it as a joke.
He escalated things with Rodgers. If you can dish it out but cannot take one to the chin, it undermines your image and reputation in the public.

Rodgers’ evolution from “whacky conspiracist” to “downright malignant voice” has happened at a record pace… and no one seems to care.
I’ll try to flesh this out on @WhatsWrightShow today.
This is not to say Aaron Rodgers’ comment was justified or not but the talk show host has been taking shots at Aaron Rodgers over his vaccination status and most recently, his take on conspiracies surrounding aliens. However, this time, with Rodgers’ comments, Kimmel is not having it.
