A few days back, the New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers claimed he would continue to play in the league for three to four more years. The veteran is currently 40 years old. Due to his age, he noted that he would need good fortune to do that as competing in the league requires a certain level of physicality and fitness.
Amidst this, Fox Sports analyst Nick Wright has ridiculed the claim of the quarterback continuing for a few more years. During a recent episode of his show First Things First, Wright claimed it would be tough for Rodgers to sustain in the league.

It's more likely it's his last year than he has 2, 3, or 4 more seasons.Nick Wright said
Following that, Nick Wright believes that he won’t be able to continue to that extent. Apart from aging concerns, Wright also believes that the Jets organization is not good enough for Rodgers to continue playing and risk more injuries.
This Jets team stinks. They do not have a good coach and I do not believe they have a good front office. Aaron Rodgers' last great game, do you even remember? It was the Cowboys playing the Packers and Mike McCarthy and his opportunity... That was Aaron Rodgers' last good game. Think about that. It was November of 2022. His last really good season was when Mac Jones made the Pro Bowl.Nick Wright said
It seems, Wright, an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, does not want Rodgers to continue playing. However, Rodgers has vowed to play for 2 or more years and match the longevity of the legendary QB Tom Brady.
Jets fans are eying the return of Aaron Rodgers
After Aaron Rodgers signed with the New York Jets last year, everyone was interested to see the four-time MVP winner create magic. However, that did not happen.

In the very first game of the Jets last season, the quarterback suffered an Achilles injury and was ruled out for the rest of the season. Despite hinting at multiple comebacks, Rodgers never played again in 2023.
Multiple associates with the league had a conviction that Rodgers would announce his retirement following the injury and his age. However, that did not happen. With a steady rehabilitation, he returned to the practice field.
This season, the fans and the Jets players are hoping for an Aaron Rodgers masterclass. Furthermore, now that Rodgers has returned, the Jets are also looking to find trade partners for their second-string QB Zach Wilson.
