Fresh off bashing Aaron Rodgers, FOX analyst Nick Wright has stirred the pot once again by referring to the Kansas City Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes as a dynasty.
Football fans were irked hearing the statement and argued that the current Super Bowl champions are not in the same bracket as Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Wright kicked off the latest segment of First Things First, claiming that Kansas City winning two Lombardi Trophies in the last five years is the greatest streak in NFL history.
They win the Super Bowl; it's the greatest five-year streak in the history of the league. And it's not arguable. Right now, the 5-year stretch they just completed. He said.
He presented a graphic that compared Tom Brady‘s Patriots run of three titles from 2014 to 2018 to the current Chiefs’ run. During that period, according to Wright, both teams had identical records, winning five divisional titles each.
New England had 62-18 (win-loss) to the Chiefs 63-20. Not only that, Mahomes led Kansas City to 10 playoff wins, while Brady had 12.
However, when compared to the overall win percentage, Wright pointed out the Chiefs had the Patriots beat (74-20 for the Patriots and 77-22 for the Chiefs). If Patrick Mahomes manages to add another ring to his collection.
It's inarguable that it's the best 5-year run ever. And what starts becoming arguable is, well, given what everyone is saying about the Chiefs offense this year, the receivers, and all of this, it's that moment where put Mahomes in the Goat [greatest of all time] conversation.Wright then claimed
Football fans slam Nick Wright for branding Patrick Mahomes as having a better 5-yard stretch compared to Tom Brady.
Wright’s statement depends on whether the Kansas City Chiefs can manage to see through the challenges of other teams and reach, or may even reach, the Super Bowl. As he pointed out, the receiver core has let down the team more often than not.

It’s remarkable that the Chiefs still managed to qualify despite leading the league with 44 dropped passes. Not only that, none of their receivers crossed 1,000 receiving yards in 2023. The best was from tight end Travis Kelce, with 984 yards.
Football fans were quick to point out that there’s still a massive if hanging from the Chiefs. Not only that, repeating the Patriots’ 2014-18 run of almost a 5-peat may be a difficult task even for them.
Sharing a wide spectrum of reactions online, here’s what fans have to say:
Before taking any further strides toward playoff glory, the Chiefs and Mahomes need to see the challenge of the Miami Dolphins. The ball is on their court because it’s a home game and in snowy conditions.
