“Not a sellout like you” NFL Twitter goes crazy as Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman drops massive comeback hint

Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman
Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman are good friends since their Patriot days, both the players played together for many years in the New England Patriots where they formed an impeccable partnership with Tom Brady. Rob Gronkowski retired earlier this year whereas Edelman retired a year before him.
Both the players share a strong bond and often engage in friendly banter on and off the field. Recently, they engaged in a friendly conversation on Twitter that has excited many fans. The former Patriots receiver posted his picture on Twitter at the Patriots training camp with the caption “Brought my cleats to the desert just in case….”
The tweet went viral and caught the attention of retired TE Rob Gronkowski who said “Do it, Jules!! Make a comeback!!”
This interaction excited their fans on Twitter who started to plot their comeback. Edelman had a swift reply in place for Gronkowski’s tweet and he said “You said if I come back…. Then you’ll come back…”
Just this conversation is enough for fans to start thinking about new theories as to how they will make their comeback and if yes which team they’ll come back to.
Is a comeback on the cards for Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman

Though it’s highly unlikely, it’s still possible that the former Patriots can come back from their retirement. Rob Gronkowski who retired earlier this year is supposedly enjoying his post-retirement life. He recently was seen at UFC 278 with Dana White and also was a part of a celebrity basketball so the chances are looking slim for Rob to make a comeback but the same can’t be said about Edelman.
Julian Edelman was happy with his decision to retire last year but that doesn’t seem the case now. The 36-year-old revealed that he misses the NFL ever increasingly. “I miss it more this year than I did last year. I miss waking up in August, going to the field and smelling the fresh-cut grass, seeing the sprinklers just finished.” Julian Edelman said on the Rich Eisen show. “Seeing our equipment guys just finishing setting all the stuff out. The locker room. The fellas. The competition.”
Edelman hinted that if he were to make a comeback, he’ll join a team that can challenge for the Super Bowl. So maybe we never know Edelman can reunite with Tom Brady once again but this time with the Bucs.
