Odell Beckham Jr. is currently one of the hottest prospects in the free agency market. The Super Bowl winner is easily one of the best receivers in the league.
The former Rams WR was out of NFL action for the complete season last year due to an ACL injury that he picked up during the Rams-Bengals Super Bowl game.
However, OBJ has completely recovered now and is looking stronger than ever. It is astounding that a WR of Odell’s quality is still without a team in the NFL.
Although there can be many reasons for it, many believe that it is because of his massive price-tag. NFL reporter Dov Kleiman recently tweeted that Odell is looking for around $15 million for a year as confirmed by reporter Rich Cimini. It was believed that the 30-year-old WR wanted $20 million before but has slashed his asking price by $5 million to attract further interest from teams.
However, Odell himself had something to say about the outrageous tweet according to his standards and savagely called out Dov Kleiman with a witty reply.
“April fools was yesterday no?” Odell Beckham Jr. stated on Twitter. “I be so confused where all these reports and numbers are coming from “per source”.”
OBJ has not confirmed anything about his asking price yet. However, many are making assumptions regarding his possible contract demands, as the WR still looks for a suitable team.

Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent despite interests from multiple teams
Many believed that Odell Beckham Jr. will be one of the first athletes to sign for the free agency as soon as it started this offseason. Sadly, it hasn’t gone in his favor as the prolific WR still looks for a team.
OBJ has interest from multiple teams in the NFL. Some of the teams include the Chiefs, the Bills and the Jets. The New-York based team is regarded as the most likely to land the WR.
However, it is reported that the teams are scared to take a risk on OBJ, who is still touted to be injury prone. If the Super Bowl winner suffers another injury, then he’ll be out for a longer time and will turn out to be a liability for his team.
Nonetheless, Odell Beckham Jr. himself believes that he is stronger and faster than ever. He even proved that during his private training session where 12 teams from the NFL came to watch him. However, the wait still remains for him to sign for a team.
