Odell Beckham Jr. recently signed a new deal with the Baltimore Ravens and announced his much-awaited return to the league. The talented WR was out due to a brutal ACL injury that sidelined him for over a year.
However, now OBJ is stronger than ever and will look to help the Ravens reach the playoffs this year. Odell’s signing for the Ravens has been highly controversial as no one expected him to go to Baltimore. The team was already embroiled in a contract dispute with Lamar Jackson and amidst that they decided to sign OBJ.
Odell was recently in conversation with Stephen A. Smith, where he was invited by the analyst to watch an NBA game with him. During the game, Smith asked OBJ about his potential favorites to win the championship.
The former LA Rams WR often shows up at many NBA games and is known to take an active interest in the sport of basketball. OBJ believes that the Lakers and the Suns can be the two favorites going into the playoffs. The Super Bowl winner has been a fan of LeBron James for ages and also maintains a great relationship with Kevin Durant from the Suns. However, his ultimate pick to win the NBA championship was the Suns.
“I’m excited about that, it’s my team, I’m excited about them,” Odell Beckham Jr. stated on NBA in Stephen A.’s World. “I’m watching them closely and will be hoping to catch some games when I can.”

Odell Beckham Jr. has been offered guaranteed $15 million for 1-year
The Baltimore Ravens decided to go for Odell Beckham Jr. under mysterious circumstances. They were the least likely team in the NFL to go for his signature. However, they took the NFL world by storm after signing him.
OBJ signed a $18 million deal for 1-year that involves $15 million in guaranteed. Although, OBJ is highly talented to deserve that kind of money, many believe his injury-prone nature can turn out to be a downfall for the Ravens.
It was recently revealed that OBJ played the entire Super Bowl winning season with the Rams without having an ACL. This could have had brutal repercussions.
Regardless, the Ravens will have to hope for the best as they sign one of the most popular WRs in the league in Odell Beckham Jr.
