WATCH – “I’ve seen it all,” Odell Beckham Jr ruthlessly kicked off Miami flight after argument with flight attendants

In what comes in as a really startling piece of news, free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr was kicked out of a flight at Miami International Airport on Sunday. The reason for his ouster from the plane is a bit hilarious with officials claiming that he failed to fasten his seatbelt despite numerous requests on their part.

Officials confirmed that the flight was headed for Los Angeles but had to be delayed due to the incident caused by Odell Beckham Jr. The free agent reportedly seemed unconscious, urging the aircraft crew to give him medical attention.

This meant that the flight could not take off, and eventually he was removed from it. Videos from the airport showed that he was being escorted off the ticketing area of the airport by police officials, and the flight was delayed for all other passengers.

“Fearing that Mr Beckham was seriously ill, and that his condition would worsen through the expected five-hour flight, [aircraft crew members] called for police and fire rescue,” Miami-Dade Police Department said in a statement. “As they tried to wake [Beckham] to fasten his seat belt, he appeared to be coming in and out of consciousness.”

The incident sparked a series of unfiltered responses from Odell Beckham Jr himself, who took to his official Twitter account to blurt out the frustration he felt after being told to get off the plane. The 30-year-old posted four updates back to back on his account, claiming that he has never seen anything like it before.

The former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver reportedly got into an argument with the flight attendants when they decided to take him off the flight, but his attorney completely waived off all such claims.

Odell Beckham Jr’s attorney, David Davillier, “At no time was Mr. Beckham disruptive or combative. He was willing to comply with the seatbelt requirement, but the flight attendant wanted to prove that he had the authority to have Mr. Beckham removed from the flight.”

From a footballing perspective, Odell Beckham Jr. is very close to making a return to the NFL after his knee injury. The wide receiver has attracted plenty of interest from various franchisees in the past couple of months. Still, it seems that the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants are the forerunners to get his signature in December.
