Bailey Zappe the New England Patriots rookie quarterback became an unheralded star overnight after he gave reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers and his Green Bay Packers a run for their money and took the game to overtime. Zappe, the 137th overall pick in this year’s draft by the New England Patriots may not have a huge fan following but one particular supporter stands out, his long-time girlfriend Hannah Lewis.
Bailey Zappe serving as a backup to Bryan Hoyer who took over as the starter after the Patriots starting quarterback Mac Jones suffered a high ankle strain in last week’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Hoyer also didn’t last long and was out of the game before the end of the half of the game against the Packers. That led to something nobody expected which was Bailey Zappe the rookie out of Western Kentucky to take over.
Nobody believed in Zappe quite like Hannah who has been supporting him throughout his football journey. The couple who recently celebrated their five-year anniversary seems to share a great bond. Lewis has been known to post quite frequently on her social media encouraging her boyfriend. When Zappe took over Lewis was celebrating and even posted on Instagram celebrating “Zappe hour“.

Bailey Zappe showed the world what his girlfriend sees yesterday when he took the game to overtime which was not something expected from a rookie 4th round pick, especially against the Green Bay Packers and their future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Although Rodgers wasn’t up to his usual great standards the New England Patriots under Zappe still played a competitive game with Hannah Lewis supporting Zappe throughout.
Lewis may be onto something as nearly two decades ago another late-round draft pick got the chance to start after the starting Quarterback got injured and that little-known prospect utilized that chance and took over the league for decades to come and now he is known as The GOAT Tom Brady. Now Zappe is no Tom Brady but he showed that he could be a lot more than the world expected but not Hannah Lewis.
When Zappe got drafted Lewis shared an emotional post about how when she first met him and asked what he wanted to do after college and he replied without hesitation NFL and how happy she was that he finally made it against all odds.
Bailey Zappe made it to the NFL then but he has now announced himself to the league. Let’s see where it takes him with Hannah supporting him along the way.
