The Green Bay Packer’s journey came to an end with the defeat against the San Francisco 49ers in a thrilling encounter. The Packers were unfortunate to lose the game despite leading after three quarters. It was a clutch drive by the 49ers in the fourth quarter that secured the victory for them.
Jordan Love had a good game with two touchdowns. Nonetheless, the quarterback was subjected to two interceptions that had a negative impact on the game. With the win, the 49ers marched on to the NFC Championship Game.
In the post-game press conference, the head coach Matt LaFleur did not leave a stone unturned to praise Jordan. He said that Love is a leader who showed his class against the 49ers.
The HC said:
I think he had an outstanding season. Could not be more proud of who he is. He is a man, first and foremost, he is the leader of this team. He is gonna continue with his fuel to get better, but I think we saw the growth throughout the season. His ability to go out and play consistently, winning football. But I think, he also grew as a leader. I think that is very important.

Jordan Love indeed emerged as a surprise for the Packers and the analysts. After the departure of Aaron Rodgers, everyone wrote the Packers off for the upcoming season. Nonetheless, the QB did not lose hope and started showing his colors lately. Despite having a slow start, the Packers managed to beat the likes of the Chiefs with the help of Love who registered 30 touchdowns with fewer interceptions. His abilities were pivotal in the game against the Cowboys also as he had 274 yards with three touchdowns.
Matt LaFleur-led Packers’ loss was disappointing to say the least
The loss of the Green Bay Packers against the 49ers was disappointing. After producing the upset against the Cowboys, the Packers were on the verge of making history. They started the game really well by taking an early lead against the Niners. At the end of the third quarter, the Packers had a decent lead of 7 points.
When it was thought that the Niners would not be winning the game due to the HC’s record of going 0-30 in history while trailing. He did not win a single game earlier while trailing by more than five points. But, a Christian McCaffrey touchdown helped him to break the curse.
McCaffrey came in handy again. The stage was set for Purdy, but it was the RB who helped the team in the critical moment.
