Things are going from bad to worse for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers this season. The veteran quarterback suffered an injury in his ribs in the game against the Philadelphia Eagles as the Packers went down 40-33.

Aaron Rodgers was previously injured with a broken right thumb which he had suffered in Week 5. However, things seem to have gone downhill after this new setback and it seems that Aaron Rodgers will have to miss some games this season.

Backup quarterback Jordan Love was called into action against the Philadelphia Eagles in the absence of Rodgers. Love entered the match in the fourth quarter for Rodgers and made a pass to Christian Watson for a 63-yard catch-and-run and finished the game 6-of-9 for 113 yards.

Aaron Rodgers said that he would like to become available for the game on Wednesday against the Chicago Bears but admitted he was having a hard time rotating his upper body. He is having a difficult time breathing but doesn’t have a punctured lung.

As long as I check out fine tomorrow, I’ll expect to play this weekend,” he said after the game. “I might not be able to go Wednesday, but as long as there’s no major structural damage, I’ll go back out there.”

Just having a hard time breathing and rotating my upper body,” Rodgers said. “I was worried about a punctured lung as well, so wanted to get that checked out.”

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that he isn’t worried about Aaron Rodgers as the latter is one of the toughest dudes he has ever coached. He’s sure of the fact that Rodgers will be back on the pitch when he is fit.

This is one of the toughest dudes I’ve ever been around. I don’t ever question his toughness. If Aaron is healthy and ready to go, I expect him out there,” LaFleur finished off.
