Damien Wilson has made a name for himself in the biggest league on the planet. The linebacker who currently features for the Carolina Panthers played college football at Minnesota. On the back of impressive numbers, he was first roped in by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Wilson has also featured for the Kansas City Chiefs for a couple of seasons and was with the Jacksonville Jaguars as well in 2021. He started all 17 games for the Jaguars last season. Not long ago, Wilson signed a two-year $6.9 million contract with the Panthers.

Wilson has got himself involved in a massive controversy. As reported by TMZ, Wilson was arrested for reportedly threatening to kill his girlfriend with a tire iron. TMZ Sports’ report also suggested that the arrest was carried out in Frisco, Texas. According to Dallas Morning News, Wilson was booked on a charge of assault with bodily injury to a family member.
Further details about the arrest are yet to be released by the authorities. However, Wilson’s girlfriend Ryan Sokolosky told the Dallas Morning News that the arrest took place after the footballer player created a ruckus at her home after the couple had broken off their relationship.
As per the report, Sokolosky said, “Wilson emerged from bushes holding a tire iron at her place and threatened to end her life.” In response, Wilson’s attorney, Toby Shook, said in a statement, “Wilson did not commit any type of assault.” He added, “We look forward to all the facts coming out so his name can be cleared.”
