There are folks actively trying to sabotage us from within ESPN. More specifically, I believe Norby Williamson is the guy attempting to sabotage our program.

McAfee further said he wasn’t 100% sure of his own accusations, but he seems to believe Norby Williamson is the sabotage, since he is the only one with some possible information that leaks out and sets a wrong narrative about the show.

I’m not 100% sure — that is just seemingly the only human that has information, and then somehow that information gets leaked and it's wrong, and then it sets a narrative of what our show is. And then are we just gonna combat that from a rat every single time?

The 36-year-old former NFL punter also noted some sabotage attempts from executives, including how someone released wrong ratings of his show to undermine his show’s influence. McAfee said the sabotage attempts have been happening ever since he joined the network, since some people didn’t like the addition of him.

That guy [Norby Williamson] left me in his office for 45 minutes and no-showed me in 2018, so this guy has had zero respect for me, and in return, same thing back to him for a long time.

Norby Williamson has been with ESPN since 1985 and has been a big part of the network’s growth. However, it seems like he has butted heads with a lot of people during his long tenure. Several former ESPN reporters including Jemele Hill shared comments agreeing with McAfee’s sentiments.

Nonetheless, McAfee has been facing a lot of backlash in recent times, including a massive controversy after Aaron Rodgers connected Jimmy Kimmel to Jeffrey Epstein on his show earlier this week. And now, he has started a war with the executives of his own network.
