Pat McAfee is currently on the cusp of massive social media controversy after ESPN went on a termination spree and fired over a dozen longstanding employees. The Pat McAfee Show is currently turning out to be one of the most ‘hip’ sports shows in the country, and every major sports company wants a piece of the action.

ESPN took the ground and signed McAfee on a massive $85 million deal to join them. Although the deal sounds decent for both parties, the timing was really awful. The sporting organization recently fired numerous employees, including influential personalities like former NFL WR Keyshawn Johnson and Max Kellerman.
