The huge payday had the world up in arms until recently but now the world’s attention has been directed towards a specific clause in the contract and the folks at Pat McAfee show chimed in to.

The clause states that Murray has to watch 4 hours of mandatory film or he can lose upto a $100 million dollars. McAfee, who has played with one of the greatest student of film and a guy who won a record 5 NFL MVP’s on the back of it- ‘Peyton Manning’ knows how important film study is for a QB.

Manning Brady McAfee

The world is is abuzz about the clause as rightly pointed out by McAfee film study has now become synonymous with greatness as Quarterback. Be it Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers film study is an important part of their life as a great Quarterback so Murray probably did himself no good by saying publicly that he doesn’t watch film.

As McAfee and crew pointed out – Murray is one talented dude as besides being the starting Quarterback for the Cardinals, Murray was also drafted in the 1st round of MLB draft by the Oakland Athletics and is also a professional e-Sports player part of the Faze Clan. “Kyler Murray may be the most chill dude on the planet,” McAfee said about the QB.

Murray who will now have to live upto the expectations and faith the Cardinals have shown in him will need all the help he can get to do so. Film study may prove pivotal in his development as a player. A Pro Bowl selection in the last 2 seasons , Murray threw for 3,787 yards, 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2021 while also rushing for 423 yards and five touchdowns, has many doubters he has to prove wrong.
