It’s a new season, but the goal is the same for Patrick Mahomes: win the Super Bowl again. During his time with the Kansas City Chiefs, he has guided them to the championship game three times, winning it twice. Not only that, but the quarterback also won the MVP and broke several records along the way. But the 27-year-old is not ready to call their recent success a dynasty—not yet.
Lifting the Lombardi Trophy is a dream for any football player. To be able to achieve that once is a big success in itself, but to do it multiple times is in a class of its own. So when Mahomes revealed that he wasn’t finished with just two, it did not come as a surprise. While the Kansas City Chiefs have been the most dominant team in both the AFC and NFL, Mahomes believes they have yet to create a dynasty. “I think we’re at the beginning of one,” he said. “In dynasties, I always say you’ve got to win three. Our job is to win as many as we can.”
Could the 2018 NFL Offensive Player of the Year be hinting at a 3-peat? Not even the great Tom Brady could manage it in his glory days. However, ESPN’s Mike Greenberg has predicted that the Chiefs signal-caller has all the necessary tools and time in his hands.

Patrick Mahomes and his teammates in Kansas City Chiefs are working hard for another Super Bowl
“I think you want it (the Super Bowl) every single year. At least I do,” Patrick Mahomes told CBS recently. “It’s such a great feeling to know that all the hard work that you put in paid off.”
The five-time Pro Bowler is one of the most physically gifted quarterbacks in the league. His training reflects on his match-day plays, and he is known to push his peers to the limit. He does that to remind the rookies that being a Chiefs player does not automatically make you a playoff contender. They have to prove their worth, and Mahomes keeps reminding them.
“The key is learning not to be satisfied,” claimed the 2022 NFL Passing Yard leader. “It’s a brand new year every year. You want practice to be harder than games.” Even though he is the best in the business Mahomes is working hard to accomplish his goal of winning a third Super Bowl ring. They begin their 2023 NFL season against the Detroit Lions on Friday 8th September.
