Patrick Mahomes recently won the Super Bowl in a historic season for the eccentric QB. The 27-year-old won the Super Bowl MVP as well as the regular season MVP. However, he also couldn’t escape the haters and criticisms after massive success. His wife, Brittany Mahomes, has often been criticized and hated for lots of things.
Brittany’s recent Instagram post gained lots of traction for all the wrong reasons. The Kansas City Chiefs QB was recently commemorated at the ESPY awards for his great performance. His wife went along with him and also congratulated her husband with an Instagram post.
However, that didn’t go well, as Brittany was scrutinized massively for her ‘poor’ clothing choices and ‘bad’ makeup. Nonetheless, the estranged Jackson Mahomes was there to rescue her. Jackson provided support and appreciated Brittany amidst a plethora of hate for her.
“Y’all look so good, love you guys!” Jackson Mahomes stated in the comments. Jackson has had his fair share of controversies and was recently involved in a lawsuit over allegedly kissing a woman in a hotel.
This is not the first time Patrick Mahomes and his wife have been targeted. Brittany has faced massive criticism for her controversial comments on the Joe Rogan podcast and many other places. However, she always bounces back and has a reply ready for all her haters.
Patrick Mahomes was nominated for the ‘best athlete’ category
The ESPY Awards are an annual award function that celebrates all the major sports in the country, including the NFL. Patrick Mahomes was nominated for various categories, including the best male athlete of the year, best NFL player of the year, and best team of the year.
The Chiefs QB won all the awards he was nominated for and put an end to a spectacular season. Mahomes was easily the best player in the league last season and his historic record-breaking season also helped him land the best athlete award. Another person to win from the NFL was Vikings WR Justin Jefferson who won the award for the best play of the season for that spectacular ‘Superman’ catch.
Patrick Mahomes will hope to repeat the feat next season as well. The Chiefs are gearing up for another Super Bowl-winning season and will look to win the trophy consecutive times for the first time in their career.
