Patrick Mahomes, at a significantly young age, is shaping up to be one the greatest players ever to play football. The quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs is similar to Tom Brady in more than one aspect. His ability to come in clutch and win games is reminiscent of Brady. But there is one thing that Mahomes can do which the greatest QB of all time probably cannot do as well.
What can Patrick Mahomes do better than Tom Brady, you ask? It is making a clean throw into a trash can without even looking. The quarterback recently shot a promo with Hugo Boss wherein he was modeling their upcoming fashion lineup. Mahomes was dressed up in his pinstripe grey suit cut out in a classic style with two peak lapels.
Mahomes casually walked in frame on the set. The scene involved the crew members calling him for a shoot but the quarterback requested them to give him a second. He then proceeds to sit on a chair and behind him, there’s a trash can placed at a distance.
Yo Patrick, you think you can hit the trash over there? One of the crew members asks Patrick Mahomes.
Yeah, I got youPatrick Mahomes responds.
He then proceeds to effortlessly throw a no-look pass right into the trash can. That throw and his ability to remain calm right after the throw was flawless. What is more insane is the fact that Patrick Mahomes has done similar things on the football field, he has normalized making no-look passes during live games too.
Patrick Mahomes will be featured in modeling Hugo Boss‘ upcoming collection and fans can’t keep calm about it
The short clip of the commercial went viral on social media and fans were impressed with the quarterback’s sense of awareness. While many think this throw must’ve taken multiple takes, the fact that Mahomes could make it is more impressive.
Here’s how fans on X (previously called Twitter) responded:
