Patrick Mahomes has decided to voice his concern after the brutal shooting of Kansas City-born teenager Ralph Yarl who received two gunshots while going out to pick up his younger brothers. The Kansas City Chiefs QB was displeased with Ralph Yarl’s condition and decided to voice his concern over the shooting fiasco and why he hasn’t got any justice till now.
Ralph is from Staley High School in California and is regarded as a student who excels in sports and music. However, life’s uncertainties are around the corner, and Ralph was hit with two shots from a .32 caliber handgun by an 84-year-old person who allegedly felt threatened by the teenagers’ presence.
Although Ralph underwent successful surgery and recovered completely, he still isn’t able to speak, and Mahomes decided to voice his concern regarding it.
The Super Bowl-winning QB applied that these things should never have happened and also prayed for Ralph and his family while they go through a tumultuous time.
“I was just gonna say, my prayers and support are for Ralph (Yarl) and his recovery. you never want these situations to happen. Especially from the details that I’ve gotten from it, it should never even happened,” Patrick Mahomes stated to reporter PJ Green. “This kid being able to pick up his family members and be able to be with his family right now and not in a hospital. So, my prayers are for him first and his recovery.”

Ralph Yarl was shot under mysterious circumstances, and the person who shot him has not been charged yet. Patrick Mahomes believes that the people should let the justice system do its part, and they will come out with a judgment in due time.
The complete details of the gruesome incident are still not out yet, and the police are conducting an investigation. Till then, the NFL MVP winner urges everyone to focus on Ralph’s recovery.
“I hope that the justice system does right by him and everyone involved, and then we’re able to not have to have these conversations, and we are able to hold each other accountable for our actions,” Patrick Mahomes stated.
Patrick Mahomes is certainly the most influential player in the league currently due to his exploits during the last season, where he helped the Chiefs win the Super Bowl by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles.
