On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs led by their star quarterback Patrick Mahomes went against the New England Patriots in their week 15 matchup. During the game, Mahomes was extremely frustrated after he threw 2 interceptions, but his second pick, which came off a Kadarius Toney’s mistake, led the Chiefs’ QB to have a meltdown on the sidelines.

During the final quarter of the game, the Chiefs had a comfortable 17-point lead and were facing a 1st down and 10 from their own 19-yard line. Mahomes took the snap from the shotgun position and hit Kadarius Toney on a quick slant. But the receiver bobbled the ball, which was then picked off by the Patriots linebacker Jahlani Tavai.

With Denver being right there behind us and [the Chiefs] losing two straight games, it was just finding a way to get that momentum back in our favor. You've just got to learn from the mistakes, keep doing it, keep getting better and try to be playing our best football going into the playoffs.

Despite their issues in the wide receivers’ room, the Chiefs still managed to have a division lead through 15 weeks, mostly thanks to their defensive unit. Next, they will be focused on defeating the Las Vegas Raiders, who the Chiefs are scheduled to face this Sunday, in their week 16 matchup.
